How to Set Up Smart Routines
Create fixed-time, overnight or Salah-based schedules for one profile. Every save is applied to the filtering engine and read back before Fitra Guard confirms it.
Available with individual device protection. Routines are included with Device Only Protection and Complete Family Protection. The protected-device profile must be connected before a routine can be added.

Quiet after-school time while keeping YouTube, music, messaging and AI available.
15:00–18:00 · Weekdays
A stronger focus window that removes social feeds, games, entertainment, YouTube and Discord.
19:00–21:00 · Every day
Pause internet overnight while keeping essential communication reachable.
21:00–06:00 · Every day
Block social, messaging, entertainment, gaming and AI during the school day.
08:00–15:00 · Weekdays
A prayer-time pause that follows local Salah times automatically.

Open the Routines tab
- →Open your Family Protection Centre.
- →Select the profile you want to schedule, then open Routines.
- →Choose a quick-start template or select Custom routine.
Choose when it runs
- →Fixed time uses a start time, end time and selected days.
- →Salah-based follows one prayer using your saved location, calculation method, school and adjustments.
- →For overnight routines, the selected day is the evening the routine starts.
- →At least one day is required, and a fixed routine cannot start and end at the same time.
Choose the protection action
- →Block selected distractions can block supported apps, services and up to 25 individual website domains while the routine is active.
- →Pause internet safely blocks general internet while keeping at least one chosen communication service available.
- →Phone calls and SMS are unaffected. Permanent profile blocks still apply during every routine.
Save and wait for verification
- →Tap Save routine. A confirmed save displays Protection schedule verified.
- →If you see Verifying protection schedules, keep the profile unchanged while Fitra Guard finishes automatically.
- →If verification needs attention, your saved routines are retained and the engine keeps retrying. Contact support if the status does not clear.
Safe overlaps: when routines overlap, their blocks combine. Ending one routine does not remove protection still required by another routine or by permanent profile settings.
Safe deletion: Fitra Guard restores and verifies the remaining profile policy before permanently deleting a routine.
The scheduler evaluates routines every minute. Saves, toggles and deletions are also sent immediately and independently verified.
